	Key of F Starting the scale on F requires the use of B flat, all the other tones being natural, as in the key of C. While the signature is B flat, the key is F. The picking-, as indicated in the Scale, is to be carefully followed. In the Melody, the division into two-measure phrases or sentences is to be care- fully followed, but, in the larger melodic sense, the entire piece is divided into a question and answer, each being eight measures in length and closing with the whole note.
